Human Resources is an increasingly broadening term that refers to managing "human capital," the people of an organization. The field has moved from a traditionally administrative function to a strategic one that recognizes the link between talented and engaged people and organizational success. We meet bi-weekly, for encouragement, to share resources, to learn different and outrageous strategies to gain employment of our dreams and desires, manifesting them into reality. The Pajama Program www.pajamaprogram.org is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization, providing new warm pajamas and new books to children from birth thru 18 years of age in need in the United States of America, and around the entire globe! Many of these children are looking forward to a forever family and are waiting to be adopted. These are youngsters who may not know the comforts of a loving mom and dad to tuck them into a cozy bed and read them a nice bedtime story. Too many of these little human beings have been abandoned and are mostly deprived of any love at all!
